Lucky to have The Monroe Theater Guild in her Wisconsin hometown, Eleanor began acting at a young age and fell in love with art. She later got her BFA in creative writing at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. She continues to hone her skills in writing and acting, honoring a legacy of playwrights and directors on each side of her family by participating in theater. She believes in the power of art to heal, and the ability words have to move others, so she continues to write plays and nonfiction geared toward progress.
